Creek identification sign with GOCWC logo
Have you noticed the signs around Oregon City that identify the names of creeks and include the GOCWC logo? Thanks to grant funds from the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board, we were able to fabricate the signs. Oregon City Public Works generously installed the signs as an in-kind donation. The logo was created by local artist, Kathryn Kostow.
Many of our creeks are hidden under culverts or hard to see when traveling by car. Our purpose in creating these signs is to increase public awareness of the creeks within our watershed and their importance as habitat to fish and other wildlife in our community.
