As our council staff and board members reflect on our progress, we especially want to thank watershed area residents and community partner who have connected with our organization in ways big and small- we couldn’t do it without your support and passion for healthy rivers and streams.

Celebration Event Details

Our celebration event will start with a volunteer work party, followed by a complimentary lunch and discussion of past and present watershed projects, new challenges, and recent scientific work in the watersheds. We encourage attendees to bring stories, questions, and visions for what they hope to see in the future as we continue working together for watershed health. 

Date: Saturday, October 5th from 9:00am to 12:30

Where: Abernethy Creek Park, at the end of John Adams St, Oregon City, OR 97045. 

*Please note that limited parking is available at the nearby  Krueger House (500 Abernethy Rd #201, Oregon City, OR 97045) as well as at the park.

Approximate Event Schedule

  • 9:00 Introductions and Coffee/Tea/Juice
  • 9:30-11:30 Mulch, pull invasive plants, and build community.
  • 11:30-12:30 Complimentary lunch and watershed discussion. Baked goods or side dish contributions are welcome but not required.

We will also provide hands-on craft activities for children of all ages!
